Conner Wright, President of Working Dog Contractors
Conner Wright is a licensed Professional Engineer and General Contractor specializing in complex water and wastewater infrastructure. Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Conner now lives in Tampa with his wife and their two young children, Roland and Lilah.
Before starting his own company in 2025, Conner spent eight years with Jacobs in its Design-Build sector, gaining extensive experience in complex infrastructure and construction projects. His work has included stormwater control and conveyance, water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, and process mechanical systems.
Conner’s passion lies in tackling highly complex projects and finding practical, efficient solutions to challenging construction and engineering needs. As both a Professional Engineer and General Contractor, he brings a unique perspective to every project—combining engineering expertise with hands-on construction knowledge.
Today, Conner leads a dedicated team of hardworking professionals focused on delivering complex work safely, efficiently, and on schedule. His goal is simple: build quality work, earn his clients’ trust, and take pride in every project his company puts its name behind.
